A Letter from Pastor Bryan
Hello, my name is Bryan Newberry, I am the pastor of Calvary Chapel San Diego, and I’d like to personally welcome you to our church. We do have a great group of people that love the Lord. Our philosophy is simple: to worship the Lord and to teach verse-by-verse through the Bible. It says in Isaiah 28:10 that we should study God’s Word line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. God’s desire per Jeremiah 3:15 is that He would have shepherds that would lead the people, feeding them with knowledge and understanding. It is God’s heart that we would learn the Word of God.
We have something special for the kids at every service, from infants all the way to senior high. We have the College and Career fellowship for 18-30 year olds that meet on Thursday night, as well as Home Bible studies that meet on Thursday night and Friday night; some of which are in Spanish.

At each one of our services, it is our desire that we would worship and learn the Word of God; then leave the church building ready to live that which we learned. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:24 that he who has friends is one who shows himself friendly. So introduce yourself to others and to us, and we will do our best to introduce ourselves to you as well and to see that you get ministered to here at Calvary Chapel San Diego.
