Hello, I am Bryan Newberry, pastor of Calvary Chapel San Diego. I am glad to say, God bless you! You’ve made the best first step of your life - - coming to Jesus Christ. Jesus said that He came that you may have life and that you might have it abundantly. Jesus said that it would flow out of you like torrents of living water - - the Holy Spirit’s work in your life. The first step that you need to make as a new believer is to begin growing in the Lord. So we have given you a Bible and some studies to get you started as a new believer. It’s important that you begin these studies and begin reading the New Testament right away. You can start in the gospel of John or in the very beginning of the New Testament, by starting in Matthew, and read right through to the end of the New Testament, to the book of Revelation.

We also have a Christian Foundation Class that is about an eight-week class designed to help you learn the basics. It’s so important that you learn the principles of God’s Word in these areas.

Get into God’s Word and find a small fellowship. We do have Home Bible studies that meet Thursday and Friday nights. These would be so important for you to find one in your area and get plugged into it. If you are struggling with drugs and alcohol, we also have a Fellowship in Recovery ministry that meets on Monday nights and Thursday nights.
