How to Check Your Child In For Service

As you walk from our main parking lot toward the main sanctuary, you will find the Children’s Ministry Tent. Simply look for the sign above the doors indicating what age group is in each room. We have a pop-up tent with sign-in tables on the right side for checking-in Preschool thru Grade 6. Children under 2 should go directly to the Nursery.

We are EXCITED to have transitioned to a computerized check-in system by Parent Pager. This system enhances a ministry's security by providing documentation of who is authorized to pickup a child by way of photo identification each time the child is checked in. The “Check IN” and “Check OUT” slips printed by Parent Pager have a picture of the child and a picture of each person who is authorized to pick up the child. A caregiver can look at a check out slip and quickly know if they should release the child to the person requesting the child.

Early Childhood:

Preschool- Kindergarten

Preschool through Kinder will present the classroom teacher with a "Check IN" slip with an assigned number for you and your child. The "Check IN" slip will have any special need your child might have (food allergies, diaper, pull-up if potty training, how long they should wait to call you if they cry, and what ever else you might feel is necessary). If for some reason the "Check IN" slip does not contain this information please ask the Check-in attendant to add it.

Our volunteers are trained to only release a child to an authorized gaurdian that is in possesion of a "Check OUT" slip. After the service is over, the person picking up the child needs to present the "Check OUT" slip to the classroom teacher. We minister to a lot of children, and the safety of the child is our number one concern.

If, for some reason, your child needs you during the service, this number will flash on the video screens inside the sanctuary. Please, sit toward the back of the sanctuaryfor service in case you need to get up and attend your child.

Elementary Ages:

In our Saturday Evenings and Sunday Morning services, 1st through 6th graders, after they have been checked in, worship in the sanctuary with their families. At the end of worship, they will be dismissed to their classrooms. Their teacher will be holding a sign in the back of the sanctuary, and will guide them to their classroom

1st thru 4th grade

1st through 4th graders also use the "Check IN" and "Check OUT" slips with an assigned number for your child. After the service is over, the person picking up the child needs to have this "Check OUT" slip.

If, for some reason, your child needs you during the service, this number will flash on the video screens inside the sanctuary. Please, sit toward the back of the sanctuary for service in case you need to get up and attend to your child.

Our volunteers are trained to only release a child to an authorized guardian that is in possession of a "Check OUT" slip.

5th and 6th grade

5th and 6th graders can check themselves in and do not require a "Check OUT" slip. We welcome and encourage you to come and meet the teachers and helpers.
