Known as the Side by Side Program, the Special Needs Ministry of Calvary Chapel San Diego is dedicated to serving people with disabilities and their families. We believe that individuals with disabilities are cherished gifts from God and they will teach us lessons we may never learn without them. It is our responsibility as the body of Christ to love, teach and minister to this special group of people.

It is a privilege and a direct call from God to reach out to those with special needs. This ministry represents the very heart of God, which is loving others. One of the major aspects of Christ's ministry on earth was His outreach to children and to people who had disabilities.
