How to Get Plugged In
Introduce Yourself The Bible says in Proverbs that he who has friends
is one who shows himself friendly. So, introduce yourself
to each other and to us, and we will do our best to introduce
ourselves to you as well and to see that you get ministered
to here at Calvary Chapel San Diego. Don’t be bashful,
make the effort to say hello to someone and ask them their
name. Get to know a little about them. For some folks this
comes easy, and for others this is difficult. Don’t
be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. You will be blessing
to another and also be blessed!
Small Groups Often when people come to a large church, they struggle
trying to find a way to get involved. We definitely don’t
want that to happen. That is why we have the Home Bible Studies.
It‘s our desire that for the first six months just sit
at the Lords’ feet and let us minister to you, build
you up, and bless you. Then after that you could have a ministry,
whether it’s in the children’s ministry, the ushering
ministry, the group that goes down to the orphanage once a
month, or however the Lord leads you. There are a plenty of
opportunities to minister.
Make the effort to find a small group that fits you best
to begin establishing yourself and your family. Be consistent
in attending these and the Bible studies each week. You will
find out how easy it is to find new friends here and develop
lasting relationships. Also, you will find yourself wanting
to serve as a part of this body, to bless others, too.
