Allen was born in San Diego and as a child lived in England, Japan and Missouri. He spent the majority of his youth here in San Diego. He enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard in 1985 thinking he would complete only four years. Four years turned into 23 and now God has called him and his family back home to minister to children, parents and the teachers who serve in the Children’s Ministry. Allen and his family have attended and served at Calvary Chapel San Diego while assigned here from 1996-2000 and from 2003-2006.

Allen married his wife Renae in 1987 and they have four wonderful children, Emily, Luke, Kaleigh and Andrew.

We believe that children are truly a blessing from the Lord and our goal is to effectively minister to children at their age level as they grow and mature into faithful servants of God.
