Rick has the great blessing to minister to those precious hearts that Jesus has declared as “the possessors of Heaven (Matt. 19:14) as he serves as the Jr. High and Elementary school principal. He is also active in the Athletic department as the girls volley-tennis coach, girls soccer coach, and girls basketball coach.

His other joy is teaching the children about Christ’s Love as a Sunday School teacher. He counts as his greatest blessing the four godly women the Lord has given him: Karen, his wife of 13 years, and their daughters Nicole, Sofia, and Natalia.

Pastor Rick is the author of Sneezy Neezy, a book about Jesus’ compassion on a “tragically allergic” little boy. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences on children’s ministry.

As a bilingual pastor, Rick has a heart to minister wherever the Lord opens the door in the Western hemisphere, but finds that this skill is extremely useful here in Chula Vista.
