Ron was born and raised here in Southern California. With his wife Leah and two children, Sirena and Miles, they enjoy their life here in San Diego. Being a homegrown convert, Ron has been attending Calvary Chapel San Diego since 1997. He has always had a love for children and hence began to serve in the children’s ministry right away. In September of 2000, Ron directed the Calvary Kids Club (CKC), which was switched to the AWANA clubs in 2001. As the AWANA Clubs Commander he enjoyed seeing that the boys and girls were being reached with the Gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. Ron now has the blessing and privilege of directing the Children’s Ministries here at Calvary Chapel San Diego.

Ron is also the Co-founder (along with his wife Leah) of BEministries (BE=bookends) who goal is to come along side and “prop-up” children and the elderly in the hope and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ron has a missionary's heart to serve in the Philippines, working with Pastoral Training of Asia (PTA) training children’s ministry workers. Ron is blessed to speak at various children’s ministry conferences and teaches church history at Calvary Chapel Pastors College (CCPC) in San Diego.

Every week over 400 kids come though our ministries. With well over 200 volunteers, eight service times and by God’s Grace we are impacting future generations.
