Peru Outreach Ministry
Missions, reaching out with the love of Christ to the whole world, is at the heart of the gospel and is the heart of God. We have taken about a dozen people to Peru to minister in a cross cultural environment twice over the last two years. We seek to serve the people of Peru by working with missionary John Bonner, director of the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Lima, the capitol. Our service involves many different aspects of ministry - from painting and cleaning to teaching the Bible, evangelistic outreach to parks, schools, drug rehabilitation center, and providing men's leadership, women's, and youth retreats. We have built a relationship with the students of the college and with the people in the church in the district of Lince in Lima. We have been to the Amazon jungle city of Pucallpa and anticipate serving in other areas of the Amazon basin as the Lord opens the door and establishes churches there. The Lord is blessing the work in Peru abundantly. The people are open to the gospel and hungry to hear the Word of God taught. Those of us who go have been blessed beyond what we could ever have expected.
