This area of ministry consists of working with a team and planning women’s retreats.  There are many helping hands needed to do the following:  registration, speakers, room assignment, gift buying, centerpieces, decorating, prayer support, worship, sound, Spanish interpretation, and hospitality.

Christmas Brunch

Most years we host a Christmas Brunch with a Craft Boutique.  We need ladies to help with hostessing, decorations, prayer support, registration, worship, sound, Spanish interpretation, set-up, clean-up and food selection.

Young Women’s Purity Conference

Every other spring our church hosts a purity conference for teen girls and young adults.  The needs are prayer support, ushering and greeting, food preparation, speakers, sound, worship, gifts, love and support.

Fundraising

Fundraising is a big need for the women’s ministry.  We’d like to get the best speakers possible for our women’s events, and by having fundraisers, this will help keep the cost down for the attendees.  We also would like to have a fund to help those ladies who cannot afford to attend the events but would like to go.  The possibilities of fundraising are endless--from a huge yard sale in the church parking lot to selling candy bars—we welcome any creative ideas.

Home Fellowship Leaders’ Wives

The ladies who are wives to home fellowship leaders are invited to participate in opportunities for encouragement.  If you’d like to help minister to these women by helping in training meetings, praying for them, or just encouraging them to not grow weary in well doing, then this is the ministry for you.

Ministering to Missionary Women

We have many missionary women that CCSD supports all over the world, and they need to know they are loved, prayed for, and supported by those of us here at Calvary Chapel.  Letters, e-mails, care packages, prayer support, newsletter writing, hosting them during their visits here, and even conferences and parties are all aspects of this ministry.
