Moms and Kids Fellowship

Moms 'n' Kids' Fellowship is a ministry that meets the needs of mothers with young children. The ladies get together regularly to "spur one another on to love and good works" while the kids are playing at Cottonwood Park (next to CCSD). Meets Thursdays @ 12:30 PM. God's Heart for Moms 'n' Kids:

"Be kindly, affectionate to one another with brotherly love, giving preference to one another. Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfast in prayer, distributing to needs of saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind..." (the mind of Christ)
Romans 12:10-16a

This is a great ministry for fun and fellowship for both moms and kids...establishing deeper relationships in the Lord with one another but especially growing in a deeper intimacy with Jesus. We laugh, we cry, we share, we pray...

Every Week: We exchange prayer requests and pray for immediate prayer needs.

Every Month: The last Thursday is set aside for moms wanting to get together & celebrate their child's birthday along with other birthday kids (and moms) for that particular month!

During Holiday Months: Please call for special outings, activities, crafts, outreaches, convalescent visits..etc.

Summer Months: We add beach days & pool parties!

* Kids please bring whatever you like to play with & share; anything with wheels, kites, sand toys, games, Build a Bears, etc.

* Moms please bring your lunches & a lawn chair to enjoy a relaxing time of sweet fellowship, ready to be built up and ready to be prayed for & to pray, as we all share our hearts & what the Lord is doing in them. Come and be a blessing and be blessed!


Meeting Time:

  • We meet each Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
  • We meet at Cottonwood Park (next to the church) from September to mid June.
  • During warmer months we meet at Mountain Hawk Park, from mid June to August (Go East on Olympic Parkway toward Olympic Training Center instead of going toward the lake you continue to go straight, park is on the right.)
  • In case of rain, we meet at Chick Fil' A located on Olympic Parkway 4 miles in from the 805, on the (L), next to Walmart. Please call to confirm.

 Apples of Gold Fellowship: A MOMS ONLY NITE which includes a Special Speaker who shares what the Lord is doing or has done in her life.
