Meet the Pastors
Brett Spross

Brett was born in Bakersfield, CA, to Dan and Judy Spross (who now reside in Nashville, TN). He has two younger sisters; Hilary (also in Nashville) and Heather (here in San Diego). He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a degree in Philosophy and Theology where he met his wife, Erin. They are expecting their first child in January 2005.

Brett has been serving at Calvary Chapel as an Assistant Pastor since 2002. He oversees the Worship Ministry and the College & Career Fellowship, both of which are continuing to grow and mature. In each of these ministries the primary goal is to meet with God, be changed by Him, and let that change permeate our entire lives. He and his wife Erin are expecting their first child in January 2005.

For the Worship Ministry, his desire is to use the opportunity he’s been given to serve the rest of our CCSD family by leading them in genuine, Spirit-led worship and to develop those with musical gifts and abilities for the purpose of glorifying the Lord.

The aim of the College & Career Fellowship is to encourage spiritual growth and maturity in those in the 18-25 year old age group. His desire is that those in this critical time of life would boldly seek after their Savior and establish themselves in the Word, prayer, and fellowship.

Please pray that the Lord would continue to give Brett vision, direction, insight and strength to continue the work that he has placed before him.
