Homosexuality
IS HOMOSEXUALITY OKAY?
It is not okay! It isn’t good for us so God calls it a sin.
The Bible makes it very clear; those who practice this kind of life style will not be accepted by God into His Kingdom.
They are put in the same category as thieves and any other unrepentant sinner.
1 Cor 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived.
Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous,
nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Paul warns us “do not be deceived”, because God knew that there would come a day when people
would want to teach you and me that these kinds of things are okay.
As God was giving his laws and regulations for sex, He made it very clear that it was designed to be experienced in a
marriage between a man and his wife. Anything outside of that is a distortion of God’s plan and labeled by God as sin.
Homosexuality is sin. Practicing any sexual act outside of marriage is destructive to the human body, soul and mind.
That’s why God calls it sin.
Example: Think of a fire. It’s enjoyable when it’s used in the right way and contained in the right place.
But when a fire is lit in the wrong place, where it has no containment, it will bring disaster and death.
Lev 18:22 "'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
Lev 20:13 "'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.
They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
“Their blood will be on their own heads”. This statement by God shows us that the person committing
this sin is the one responsible for the sin. We cannot say “God made me this way, I can’t help it”.
James warns us about blaming our sinful actions on God.
James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by
evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires
and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth
death.
Some say “it feels so right, how can it be wrong”? The answer to that is that their hearts are calloused to the truth. They
have rejected God’s plan for their lives and have done their own thing for so long that now they are convinced it’s right
and good. They perverted their minds to the point where now they believe the lies, and not the truth.
Example: Even some murderers and rapist when interviewed have said they’re innocent or that there
was nothing wrong with what they did. How could they believe their actions where not wrong? They are
self-deceived.
In Rom 1:18-29 we learn that when people have rejected God’s truth for a long time God will allow them to believe
their own lies and even act on their desires. God will not make us obey if we don’t want to. That’s why some can live in
sin with no remorse or conviction. But God can save people from that too
(1 Cor 6:9-11), just like he saved us. Praise the Lord!!

IS IT OKAY FOR MEN AND MEN TO MARRY?
It is not okay! God condemns it; it’s sin!

Definition: SODOMITE, SODOMY: one who practices sodomy; unnatural sexual intercourse, especially that between
two males. These English words are derived from SODOM, an ancient city in the land of Canaan noted for such depraved
activities.

Why are there Homosexual preachers?
Sometimes the ungodly take positions of authority but God will judge them.

Lev 20:13 "'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to
death; their blood will be on their own heads. (it is their own fault. God didn’t make them that way)
The ungodly will run church > but God will judge them
1 Sam 2:12-13 Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know the LORD. (They served as priest) (this is how they acted toward the people)
1 Sam 2:16-17 16 And if the man said to him, "They should
really burn the fat first; then you may take as much as your heart desires," he would then answer him, "No, but you must give
it now; and if not, I will take it by force." 17 Therefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD, for men
abhorred the offering of the LORD.
1 Sam 2:22-26 22 Now Eli was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel, and how they lay with the women
who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 23 So he said to them, "Why do you do such things? For I hear of
your evil dealings from all the people. 24 No, my sons! For it is not a good report that I hear. You make the LORD's people
transgress.
Matt 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my
Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive
out demons and perform many miracles?' 23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Luke 13:26-28 27 "But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!' 28 "There will be
weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you
yourselves thrown out. (you will not enter)
Jer 23:14-15 14 And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They
strengthen the hands of evildoers ,so that no one turns from his wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem
are like Gomorrah." 15 Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets: "I will make them eat bitter food
and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land."
Jer 23:17 They keep saying to those who despise me,
'The LORD says: You will have peace.'
And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts
they say, 'No harm will come to you.'
18 But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD
to see or to hear his word?
Who has listened and heard his word? (No one they are all liars)
